We arent very good at this...

It would appear that Robert and I are not very good at this blogging thing at all. But we are trying! This blog will probably be too long so that we can catch up on everything! Since July 17th we have been to 3 different weddings, one in Jackson, one in New Orleans and one in Hattiesburg. In Jackson, for Chad and Barbara's wedding, we got to spend time with a lot of people that we hadn't seen since our wedding. We stayed with Jaime and spent Saturday and Sunday there. We got to see my sister and brother-in-law for a little bit. We got to spend time with Andrew and Ashley after the wedding and we got to eat dinner with Jessica and Brad, we went to eat at Sal and Mookies, very interesting pizzas. Of course I went simple and got cheese, chicken and bacon- my ultimate food groups! After that we went to see Inception, which was really good. The concept behind the movie and the graphics were definitely the best part. Between all of the weddings we have been working and going to meetings and working and attempting to have a life here in Memphis. The New Orleans wedding was Kate and Jack's! It was a lot of fun to get out of town, Robert and I stayed an extra day in New Orleans so that we could have some time away. We celebrated our 3 month wedding anniversary, corny we know!! We wanted to go to the aquarium but unforutanely it was closed. So we went by the casino to see what it was like, there Harrah's is huge, its almost ridiculous!! And finally we went to Jake and Maria's Hattiesburg wedding. That Friday we went to Jackson and stayed with my sister and Jordan and went to dinner to celebrate Jessica's birthday. It was so good to be home and catch up with them. Saturday we drove to the wedding, saw more people we havent seen in a while and got to reminisce on the good ol' college days at USM. We drove to Meridian after the wedding and Sunday went to church, went to my cousin's Caleb's one year birthday party and then my dad taught Robert to grill! The food was delicious and the lesson went really well. Finally we are home and this past weekend has been so nice. Robert and I have gotten to spend the past 4 days together and it has been the most rare and most precious time! We rarely get to work similar schedules so when we do get that many days off together we actually end up planning more stuff to do instead of relaxing. Saturday we went to see Step Up 3D and although it didnt really need to be 3D it was a very enjoyable movie. We hae become obsessed with So You Think You Can Dance and some of the past competitors were in the movie and some of the choreographers helped do the dances. After that we went to eat dinner at Pearl's Oyster House with our friends Nikki and Noel. Pearl's is always good, we havent been since Kaylis came to celebrate her birthday. Sunday we went back to the church that we have recently found and thoroughly enjoy. It's called Highpoint Church and its the perfect mix for us, its has contemporary but the message is always Bible based and keeps both of us awake. Next week we are going to try the Sunday school class and we are really hoping that it works for us. Sunday after church we did more cleaning and "chores" than we have in a long time We have also spent tons of quality time playing with Daphne, we play ball for 15 minutes then she is worn out. Within the next hour she is up and roaring to go. We do this over and over all day long. But we love it! We also went running, okay it was more like jogging and walking, but it was exercise. Robert and I are starting "Couch to 5K" and in the past 2 days it has been very interesting. But in an effort to win a competition at work and to become more healthy and fit, Robert and I have started to take rowing class. It's a class with stationary rowers and a leader, very intense. We are also "running." Wish us luck!! Tomorrow we go back to work and we arent really excited but after 3 nights it will be a weekend again and we will be off together. Sorry if this was too long, we had alot to catch up on!
